Overview
The scenario
Clinic Queue imagines an outpatient clinic where patients arrive early and wait for hours because they can't predict when they'll be seen. The concept gives patients a booking app with live queue position and gives reception a simple console.
The problem
Waiting rooms are crowded, patients miss their turn when they step out, and reception spends much of the day answering 'how long now?'.
Our solution
Patients book a slot, check in remotely when they're nearby, and follow their live place in the queue. Reception calls patients from a console that updates every phone instantly.

Design
Tested with older users in mind: large type, plain wording, and one primary action per screen. No medical data is shown on lock-screen notifications.
Development
React Native app with a Node.js API and real-time updates. Patient data is minimised to what the queue needs, with retention agreed with the clinic.
